How to take the next step

Applying to do your resettlement training with JBC is easy. We insist that all service leavers come and visit our training centre before embarking on a course - that way you can see the training for yourself and be sure you've made the right decision, and learn all about us at the same time. Just call our centre to book a visit.

We recommend that you give yourself adequate time to arrange your resettlement training.

Step 1.

Call us on 024 7671 9720 to book on one of our Forces open days or to speak to one of our advisors about your own circumstances. Remember to tell us you are in the Forces when you call. (If you need overnight accommodation when you come and visit us on an open day, just ask; we will put you up in accommodation free of charge).

Step 2.

Come along to an open day, see the facilities for yourself, meet the team, and ask any questions you may have. We may also ask you to complete a short test to gauge your current IT skill level. You will have the opportunity to speak to an advisor on a one-to-one basis about your resettlement and what programme is right for you.

Step 3.

We will write to you within days of meeting you detailing any training offer we can make to you (or explaining why we are unable to offer you a place on our programme).

Step 4.

You contact us to accept the training offer and to reserve a place on your chosen course.

Step 5.

Complete and submit MOD form 363T and any other required MOD forms.

Step 6.

Begin your training and start your career in IT.
