Planning your resettlement

Special Offer:
In support of our armed forces men and women anyone who is made redundant from the services in 2011/12 and chooses JBC as their preferred training partner will not have to pay our normal training fee for our residential resettlement courses.
JBC is a preferred supplier to the CTP and as such we accept an obligation to advise ex armed forces (RAF, Army and Navy military personnel) on how to get the most out of their resettlement entitlement.
You may have already decided that IT is the right career for you or you may be considering IT alongside other career options. Either way, it pays to plan ahead so that you can make the right decisions and maximise what you achieve out of your resettlement.
Take a look through our website and study our Careers Roadmap to get an idea of the kind of structured retraining courses available. Then get in touch and we will be able to put a programme together that is right for you. The most effective resettlement is one that is well planned to achieve your objective - just cramming in as many courses as possible can be counter productive.
No obligation open days
It is easy to visit us for an open day; come and see our resettlement programs in action and receive advice with no obligation. Just call us on 024 7671 9720 or email info@jbcmail.com or contact us using our online form and arrange to visit us on a day that is convenient for you.
Don't have any resettlement entitlement?
We are also ELC registered providers of training courses and can advise you on suitable courses to gain recognised qualifications, which can be paid for with your ELC entitlements.
Four steps to success
1. What's your objective?
Discuss with us your objective and what you want to achieve from your resettlement. Often the primary objective is to secure employment after leaving the services with the secondary objective of achieving professional qualifications that will enhance future career prospects.
2. We advise, you decide
We will look at what resettlement entitlements you have available and advise you on what training route and qualifications you should take to achieve your objective, see our Careers Roadmap. The decision is then yours.
3. Receive a formal offer
We will detail our offer to you in writing so that you have all the facts to make a decision and the paperwork you need for your funding claims. We provide all the course materials you will need and JBC has its own onsite accommodation for your stay.
4. Get started
You then simply book a start date that works for you and begin your transition into a civilian career.
