Will I be paid whilst I am on this Apprenticeship ?

You would be paid at least the official Apprenticeship rate

Do I have to pay anything?

No. The programme is fully funded; if you are offered a place on the programme you will not have to pay anything for your training.

Am I eligible to apply for an Apprenticeship ?

You must be a UK or EU citizen resident in the UK for at least the last 3 years and between 16 and 18 years of age to be eligible.

Where is the Apprenticeship training based ?

Your Apprenticeship training would be based in either Coventry or Leicester

What is the selection process for this programme?

If you wish to apply, you first need to contact us by filling in the application online. On the basis of your online application you may then be invited to an assessment interview. This is our opportunity to meet you in person and you get to look round our training facilities. Any offer of an Apprenticeship will then be made to you in writing, after your visit.

Is this programme right for me?

If you are keen to get into employment at the earliest opportunity and you have an interest in working in the IT industry then an Apprenticeship is right for you.

Is accommodation provided?

No. Accommodation is not provided so you need to live within travelling distance of our facility in Coventry or Leicester.

Will I be employed of whilst I am on the programme?

Yes. You will be employed from the day you start your Apprenticeship

What qualifications will I gain?

You will gain the advanced Apprenticeship qualifications and work towards a range of Microsoft industry qualifications through our Microsoft Academy.

The Microsoft IT Academy Programme at JBC Computers Ltd is a learning model for apprentices to gain skills development in Microsoft technologies. It links learning to real-world job skills and helps apprentices from Coventry, Leicester & Warwickshire gain the IT skills needed to advance their career.
